Our Big "Red" Dog

He had to be put down yesterday. he ran under the tires of his owners truck. He was only two years old and I loved that darn dog. He was so full of mischief. My poor son-in-law to be, wanted to die too.. He just felt him go under the truck. he didn't know it was him till it was too late. He was pretty smashed up in his hips and legs. We decided to put him down, he was in so much pain.
i will miss him terribly..

Weather or not...

well we have summer... but its been getting down in the 30's and 40's at night...burrr. The days only get to 70-75 degrees. Its nice, but cools down so fast. I didn't even plant any flowers this year. I wish I would have.
I will be adding some pictures soon. I've been so busy at work, I haven't had time to even read others blogs.

Lawn Ornament I did for a friend.

well... I had a real bad day yesterday. My one kitty died yesterday.He had liver cancer. We didn't know that at the time. He was loosing weight, having seizures, and vomitting. I have 3 cats, 2 are from the same litter. He was 9 years old. I miss him, cause he was my goin to bed cat. He would lay on me and purr..His brother misses him too..He walks around meowing.
I thought I would share my story. Its never easy to lose our pets. I work at the vet clinic and see death everyday, and it always makes me feel bad. But when its yours, my heart aches.
thanks for listening. I will miss his furry little face terribly, but he's left paw prints in my heart..

Summer

well, lets see.. I have seen the sun out a few times..LOL. It froze again night before last. we still dress in layers.LOL.
I have been making cards. I will post them later. I made two graduation cards.

summer??

Well, summer is suppose to be here, but I'm not sure. It still gets down to almost freezing at night, and our furnace is still in use!!! I didn't even buy any flowers. Today the sun is out but the wind is cold...
Remind me again why we live here!! LOL
